Partner Tech USA Inc, a global technology company and innovator of intelligent POS and self-service solutions, is introducing the ALFA Series , a powerful, but sleek industrial computer, specially designed to meet the requirements of demanding retail and hospitality applications with plenty of ports to connect peripherals such as a cash drawers, displays, printers, scales, digital signage, and security cameras.
This solid-state computer has no moving parts or fans and is therefore durable and completely noise-free. The smartly designed aluminum casing protects the computer and leads away heat. The large number of ports includes four optional powered USB ports that enable peripherals that need extra power to be connected without cluttering the checkout area with more cables and power bricks. This makes ALFA ideal to use as a POS terminal and server, but it can also be integrated with an open frame display to run digital signage, kitchen display systems, or kiosk applications. Its small form factor with VESA mounting bracket, makes it easy to install in small spaces. The ultra-compact, 45 mm low-profile design of ALFA Mini provides even more flexibility.
The ALFA Series is available with Windows 11 or 10 and Linux Ubuntu 22.04, and it is powered by the latest Intel Tiger Lake and Elkhart Lake processors to ensure high-speed performance in any user scenario. Different memory and storage sizes are available with up to 1 TB M.2 PCIe SSD and 32GB DDR4 DRAM.
“The digital transformation of the retail and hospitality industries, continues to drive the development of more powerful computers that are designed to handle more demanding applications,” says Sandra Hsia, president at Partner Tech USA. “The ALFA Series provides the power and flexibility that our customers are looking for, supported by a 5-year warranty. With its multiple ports, ALFA is an excellent choice for retail applications with many peripherals at the checkout counter, but it can also be used as print server, office computer or server.”
