Self-Checkout Solution for Any Size Retailer 

 

Starling (previously ACE2) optimizes the self-checkout experience with faster throughput and intelligent fraud preventions.
 
Partner Tech USA Inc, a global technology company and innovator of intelligent POS and self-service solutions, is launching Starling (previously ACE2), a next-generation fully integrated self-checkout solution that delivers higher throughput and frictionless shopping. Starling combines rich, modular functionality and strong security features with a sleek and space-saving design. Thus, it is an attractive self-checkout solution for many types of retailers, including supermarkets, convenience stores, drug stores, and more. 

AI-based computer vision enables automatic produce recognition, which results in fewer interventions and faster throughput and it helps identify suspicious transactions. To further reduce shrink, Starling uses an adaptive security scale to verify the weight of each scanned item. In partnership with the strategic technology partner Checkpoint Systems,
Starling also supports EAS tags and RFID.

Starling offers all the  preferred payment options for credit and debit cards, contactless, and mobile through the retailer’s current POS system. Brackets are available for the most popular payment terminals and additional terminals can be added on demand. An optional cash module offers advanced coin and paper bill recycling. 

At the heart of the
Starling, is a powerful and durable touch screen computer, available with several processor options and a large content rich 21.5” display. The integrated bioptic scanner with a produce scale delivers high-performance multidirectional scanning and quickly captures the weight. Starling is equipped with a tri-light LED that signals when a customer needs assistance and it can also be configured with a camera for produce recognition and fraud prevention as well as a camera for ID verification. Starling is available in several different colors and configuration to match the store’s branding and special needs. 
Included with
Starling, is a self-checkout software with a customizable graphical user interface. As the self-checkout software is POS agnostic and it can be easily integrated with the store’s current POS software by using Partner Tech’s API tool kit.

On top of all, Partner Tech offers a remote monitoring software, SeeYourSCO, which allows retailers to closely watch and track the performance of all the SCO stations in real-time. This is a critical component for a successful rollout as it helps proactively resolve problems to increase the usage and profitability.
